Contemplative Outreach is a spiritual network committed to living the contemplative dimension of Christian life through the practice of Centering Prayer, a method of prayer that prepares us to receive the gift of Gods presence, contemplative prayer. The purpose of Contemplative Outreach is to teach the method of Centering Prayer and its immediate conceptual background and to support those who practice Centering Prayer through workshops, retreats, educational materials and small groups.
